Robert E. Harrison

Past President/CEO

Robert E. Harrison was a Southern California sports icon back in the late thirties and early forties. At age 17 he signed a professional baseball contract to help support his family rattled by the Great Depression. Dreams for many were shattered as this period marked the most destructive war in human history. Robert E. Harrison is a World War II Veteran. He fought in North Africa and Italy for the U.S. Army.

Robert E. Harrison joined The Beaumont Co. in 1952. During his employment he served on The Boards for the Institute of Real Estate Management and other Community Organizations. He was instrumental in elevating the company’s growth to another level. He also organized numerous Real Estate Syndications with great success. In 1977 he bought the firm from Henry Beaumont, its founding Father.

He remained sole owner until 1995 when he sold the company to his son Bruce Harrison and Gary Holme. Mr. Harrison remained very active with the company until his passing in the early 21st century.

He is also remembered by many as a loyal and generous friend, competitor, financial advisor, teacher and someone who loved family and life.
